The last time I talked about this (overly?) hyped facial oil, I liked it but I was not wowed by it. I promised to keep you posted if something changed and actually, these last weeks, something did. When I think about the time I first tried it, my skin didn’t really needed it. I used a lot of hydrating products because I worked from home and didn’t wore makeup all the time. Things have changed since.
Now I wear makeup every day, I’m in an airconditioned building and it’s winter, so I go from cold to warm and back, multiple times a day. My skin is feeling that too and wasn’t in the best condition lately, so I took out this oil again to see what it could do.
This time, I used it alone. In the past, I’ve used it on top of or mixed with a cream like La Roche Posay’s Effaclar K, and I didn’t had the effect I hope for. Now, when I used three to four drops, – not more, otherwise my skin gets overly greasy again – I massage them in properly at night and my skin looks amazing when I wake up. It also feels soft and nicely even, which it hadn’t for weeks.
In the end, it’s still an expensive product but with these results and only needing a maximum of four drops every time, I can see me getting a lot of use out of this. It’s doing a great job hydrating my skin and keeping impurities at bay – so I though I’d let you know. It’s definitely my favourite of the week!
