Not your average fragrance, Mojave Ghost by BYREDO

Stockholm cleanness combined with the brilliance of perfumer Ben Gorham – that’s BYREDO and here’s why you’ll love it. Just by looking at their products, you see that they embody the simplicity is the ultimate sophistication-spirit. A simple but yet stunning design captures the different creations of BYREDO. You won’t find any run-of-the-mill scents in this collection, each fragrance stands out with its own unique and clean blend of notes.

BYREDO’s newest creation goes by the name Mojave Ghost, an homage to the most bewitching flower of the Mojave desert. With its opening accord of Ambrette and Jamaican Nesberry, the fragrance will immediately astound you. Only to take you by surprise to its flowery heart of Violet, Magnolia and Sandalwood. Three of the most beautiful notes, I think, combined together. Mojave Ghost has a base of Chantilly Musk, Crisp Amber and Cedarwood. And if you know that I adore Violet, Ambrette, Sandalwood, Musk & Cedarwoord – do I need to say more?

I already spoke the words on Twitter but I’m going to repeat them once more: it was like this fragrance was created especially for me. I adore the freshness of the flowers that comes with the first spritz, the intensity of the ambrette and then the solid base of musk and woods. This really isn’t your everyday fragrance, this is something you’re going to be passionate about when you wear it.

If you’re in the neighborhood of a BYREDO counter, go over and have a whiff of Mojave Ghost. But I have to warn you, it’s addictive. Another favourite of mine is Blanche, a very fresh scent that’s been on my wishlist for ages. And they’ve recently released a collection of hand creams in the variations Blanche, Bal d’Afrique & La Tulipe. You can guess which one is making its way to me, right?
