My love for Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair

It’s one of those products that I’ve been using consistently over the years. It always delivers, never gives up on my skin and it has my back when I need it the most: Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II. In short, beauty aficionados call it ANRII and here are some words on why I think it’s that great.

Estée Lauder says ANRII is made to fight key signs of aging, to hydrate and moisturize, to help resolve dullness, dryness and dehydration. When you look at the formula, they support that with a great deal of hyaluronic acid, caffeine, chamomile and many more scientific terms that just seem to work very well together.

I apply this more or less consistently every evening. What I see when I use it, even after a first time since long, is that my skin looks brighter, feels smoother and is more plump in the morning. When I say brighter, I also mean that little red spots calmed down and scarring is less severe than when I don’t use ANRII.

Since I tried the serum for the first time, back in 2013, I’ve been hooked on many other Advanced Night Repair products. The eye serum and eye cream are fabulous and I regret forgetting to include them in this picture. For the eyes, they also just released the ANR II Concentrated Recovery Eye Mask. A sheet mask for your eyes – my favourite kind.

It’s a special one, you mix the eye patches with a concentrated version of the eye serum at the moment you need them. You let them soak a little bit and then it’s instant relief for your eyes. It’s a very relaxing ritual at night and my dry eyes are a big fan of these, I look all revived in the morning and my makeup goes on way better.

And speaking of sheet masks, you must have seen the crazy looking ANRII Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask already, right? (This stays the best picture.) This is the boosted version of the serum that works faster and is way more intense – for important days and nights. I’m a bit addicted to it so I try to limit my use (and fail miserably).

Last year, Estée Lauder also launched two cleansers to go with the collection. I’m trying the Micro Cleansing Foam and the Micro Cleansing Balm right now, they help taking everything of your skin so the ANRII can do its job afterwards.

Recently, I’ve also been using the Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Wakeup Balm, its early but damn this stuff makes my skin glow! If you have a rather dull or grey complexion, this could be your savior. I’ll keep you updated on how it’s going but ladies, that ANRII stuff is something you want in your bathroom. I always have a backup of the serum, I don’t think I could sleep otherwise.

And word is out, there’s a new must-have coming: the Advanced Night Repair Recovery Mask-in-oil. A mask-in-oil, how amazing does that sound?! I can’t contain my excitement for this new release in the ANRII family. You can use the oil after the serum or after your night cream to seal it in and maximize its effect. I can’t wait to see what this could do for my skin.. This is without a doubt the first item on my wishlist after no-buy-February! (It will be available as from February 20th, at esteelauder.be)

  • Heb onlangs het nieuwe oogmasker voor ‘t eerst geprobeerd en ja hoor, vond ‘t net zoals de rest uit de collectie ook een topper.

I agree, these products always deliver. Currently loving the face mask in foil and need that Micro Cleansing Balm in a pot with gold lid! Just bought the EL Revitalizing Supreme Body Cream you mentioned in a previous post… this big 200ml tube is fantastic ! Smells divine, pure luxury. I think they have done wonders developing the whole range with these more than tempting new products. Loulou
